As retired Branch Chief and Director of 4-East inpatient service at the Clinical Center of the National Institute of Health, Dr. Pickar brings extensive experience in the management of psychiatric patients to his private practice. Dr. Pickar provides psychotherapy as well as medical management and consultation for patients with schizophrenia, mood disorders (Bipolar and Unipolar), anxiety disorders and other clinical syndromes and problems.
